In this chapter, Wendy tells her own story of her family. All lost boys were happy to find the another mother “Mrs. Darling” in the story. The story was about mother’s love. She tells that mother is waiting for her children come back home and opens windows to welcome them, As the story goes ahead, every body set themselves in the characters of story, but Peter does not like this story of mother’s great love, because when he got back home, her mother forgot her and had a new child in her lap. After knowing his views about mother’s love, Wendy’s siblings insist her to get back home. Peter does not like them leaving, still he pretends that he does not care about Wendy. He made necessary arrangements for thier leaving. But lost boys don’t want her go, so they planned to make her prisoner. Peter explained them not to make a girl stay against her will. Peter gives a reponsibility to Tinker and Red skins. When Tinker came to know about Wendy’s leaving, she was delighted. Wendy invited all to her home, but Peter turns down her invitation. Suddenly the pirates once again made a dreadful attack on red skins.

In last chapter, we learned the fight between Pirates and Peter Pan. Before this fight, redskins were not friendly to Peter and lost boys, but in this fight Peter saved Tiger Lily, a chief’s daughter from dangerous pirates. So now they are friends of Peter and called him “the Great White Father”. However, they were still not friendly with lost boys. In this chapter, Wendy and Peter both pretends to be lost boys’ parents, even though they were too young to be parents.

At evening, Peter goes out to find time. He finds time in the clock which was in crocodile’s stomach. There was a rule that every one should obey what Wendy says and if there is any complaint, one can say politely, but at the time of make-believe meal, all lost boys and Wendy’s siblings complains each other. Wendy tried to pacify them but all in vain, and there Peter got back. He was so happy that he started to dance. Peter was the best dancer among them.

I think Wendy is in love with Peter, but she wishes Peter say this, but Peter could not understand all this. Tiger Lily and Tinker also like Peter. Then they start story-telling but the first time it was that Peter hated Wendy’s story. Why so and what happened next? we will learn in next chapter.

In the last chapter, we learned that Wendy and Peter were injured in the fight against pirates. fortunately, Wendy was saved by the kite of Michel, but the kite was enough to carry one person only. So, Michel could not help Peter. Suddenly Peter saw a piece and he thought that it was a piece of kite. But in fact, it was the Never Bird. This bird wanted to save Peter by droping her net in the water. In her nest, there were her eggs, still she did not care her eggs in order to save Peter. Peter realized to see her efforts that she was so friendly to her, despite many times he tormented her. The Never Bird was so tired that she told hm to swim, but Peter could not understand her language. So the bird got ready to sacrifice her eggs to save him, but luckily Peter got what she was trying to say. Therefore, Peter lifted her two eggs safely and the Never bird saved Peter and her eggs and reached Peter at home.

In chapter 8, the author has described the experience of Wendy about mermaids in lagoons and the fight between pirates and Peter Pan. Mermaids were not so friendly with Wendy and lost boys but to Peter, of course he was friendly to everybody. The first paragraph is a stylistic work of the author because if we do so as author decribes, then a beautiful picture you can see about mermaids in lagoon. Then all lost boys, wendy, her siblings and peter has a make-believe meal.

One day Wendy felt some changes in the lagoon. She realized something wrong, but she did not make lost boys get up. One of the boys had the ability to recognize danger even in sleep. He knew that danger was pirates. They were in boats with Tiger Lily, a chief’s daughter. They tied her. Then the great fight took place between Peter and pirates. Wendy was so frightened to see all this because she had never seen this situation. Hook then ordered pirates to kill Tiger Lily, but Peter decided to save her. So he changed his voice and said to pirates to free her, but suddenly Hook got there. Peter defeated by the help of crocodile, since Hook was scared only of Crocodile. In this fight, Wendy got hurt and fainted, and even Peter Pan also was injured. Peter was not able to fly, so by the help of Michel’s kite he saved Wendy. But he was badly injured.

Really this chapter looks very interesting and full of adventures.

In chapter 5, we learned that Tootles killed Wendy by his arrow. He feels proud because he thinks that his task will please Peter Pan.

He becomes very sad when Slightly says to him that this is the lady Peter brought for us as a mother to tell stories. All lost boys are afraid of Peter. They also say to Peter Pan what happened and show her body lying on the land. Fortunately she was alive. The kiss, his button, saved her life. Every body was happy to find Wendy alive but Tinker Bell. When Peter Pan came to know about Tinker’s conspiracy to kill Wendy, he got furious and decided to break friendship with Tinker for ever, but because of Wendy he broke friendship with Tinker for the whole week. To protect Wendy, they built a house around her because Peter Pan thought that to carry ladies is not respectful.

They also called a doctor for Wendy. But all were confused what type of house Wendy would prefer. Suddenly Wendy starts to sing without opening her eyes.

“I wish I had a pretty house, The littlest ever seen, With funny little red walls And roof of mossy green.”

After listening to the song, they bring branches with red sap and carpet all the ground with moss, but forget to put windows. So lost boys make windows with a blow of their fists. Peter Pan takes great care in making a house for Wendy.

After some time she came to herself. She got surprised to find herself in a house. All lost boys requested her to be their mother and she told them a story of Cinderella. Then she went to bed, and Peter protects her from pirates throughout the night.

In last chapter, we learn that Peter Pan comes back to Neverland with Wendy and her siblings. Now let’s have a look on chapter 5 – THE ISLAND COME TRUE.

When it was known to Neverland that Peter Pan in coming back, the entire island looked like it got a new life. In the absence of Peter Pan, things are usually quiet on the island. Every body was eagerly waiting for Peter Pan, especially lost boys because pirates were looking out for lost boys. This time there were only six lost boys on the island because the boys on the island vary, of course, in numbers, according as they get killed and so on; and when they seem to be growing up, which is against the rules, Peter thins them out. They are forbidden by Peter to look in the least like him, and they wear the skins of the bears slain by themselves, in which they are so round and furry that when they fall they roll. They have therefore become very sure-footed. The description of lost boys is as follow:

Tootles: Tootles was not least brave but unfortunate, but he was quite the humblest of the boys.

Nibs: Nibs is gay and debonair who cuts whistles out of the trees and dances ecstatically to his own tunes.

Slightly: Slightly is the most conceited of the boys. He thinks he remembers the days before he was lost, with their manners and customs, and this has given his nose an offensive tilt.

Curley: Curly is fourth; he is a pickle, [a person who gets in pickles-predicaments]

The Twins: Last come the Twins, who cannot be described because we should be sure to be describing the wrong one. Peter never quite knew what twins were, and his band were not allowed to know anything he did not know, so these two were always vague about themselves, and did their best to give satisfaction by keeping close together in an apologetic sort of way.

Tinker Bell is very jealous of Wendy, still she pretends to be Wendy’s friend. She takes advantage of conflict between pirates and Peter Pan and ordered lost boys to kill Wendy on the behalf of Peter Pan and said that doing so will please Peter Pan. So Tootles excitedly shot an arrow to Wendy and she fluttered to the ground with an arrow in her breast.

The flight

As you knew in chapter 3, Peter Pan comes to Wendy’s house with a fairy to take his shadow back. Peter Pan is so forgetful that first he forgets Tinker Bell in the drawer and then he forgets to thank Wendy for sewing his shadow. Peter Pan tells Wendy that he comes to her house to hear the stories which Mrs. Darling tells her children. Wendy says to him that she knows many such stories. So he insists her to come in the Neverland and tell the stories his friends too, but she does not know how to fly. So, Peter Pan teaches Wendy and her siblings to fly and they starts to fly towards Neverland.

Peter Pan, Wendy, and her siblings – Michel and John – had funny experience while flying towards the Neverland. I liked and laughed when Michel was feeling sleepy and dropped like a stone. Wendy was frightened to see her brother falling, but Peter had fun and saved Michel by diving in the air. Peter also showed off tricks that how to dive through air, fly close to water and touch sharks’ tail in passing, sleep in the air without falling, and play “Follow My Leader” but forgot to show them how to stop flying.

Again Peter Pan forgot that Wendy and her siblings were flying with him and went ahead. This got Wendy irritated too much and warned Peter not to forget them. At last they arrived the island and on the island they found many similar things what they had at home. However, they could not land on the island, for some pirates did not want them land. Hook was the captain of these pirates whom Peter hate too much. Peter then told them that he cut his right hand in a fight and now Hook wore an iron hand with claws. He told Wendy that because of Tinker Bell’s light, pirates could see them. John asked her to put the light off, but the fairy can not put off the light until she falls asleep, and she can not fall asleep until she does not feel sleepy. So they put Tinker Bell in John’s hat and Wendy kept this hat with her but Tinker did not like to be under Wendy’s obligation. They were going ahead in silence but suddenly they heard tremendous crash in the air and that was Long Tom, a gun, fired by pirates. Every body was shocked to hear this fire, but Tinker Bell was thinking about Wendy’s destruction because she was jealous of Wendy. She murmured few bad words about Wendy but she could not understand what Tinker said. She was completely unaware of the fact that Tinker hates her. She just followed Tinker Bell  to her doom. Now to know what happened, see my next blog or you can read chapter 5.

Hi readers, let’s continue the conversation between Wendy and Peter Pan.

To Make her look up, he praised her by words “one girl is more use that twenty boys” and to hear her praise she peeped out of her bed sheet. After all, she was every inch (entirely) a woman and every woman like to hear her praise. She desired to kiss Peter Pan but he was completely unaware of what is kiss and when she came to him to kiss, he dropped the acorn button in her hand and she wore it in the chain and further talk took place between them.

Wendy asked him few questions about his age, address and family. He felt weird and thought like he was giving a test of grammar. When she asked about parents, he told very surprising thing that he ran away the day he was born and since than he had been with fairies. When he told her about fairies she was delightful because she liked fairies very much and Peter said to her about the beginning of the story.

“You see, Wendy, when the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.”

While talking about the fairies he remembered about Tinker Bell whom he forgot in the drawer. When Wendy came to know that there was a fairy in her house, her heart went flutter with a sudden thrill. Then peter recalled the whereabouts of Tinker bell, he laughed and took her out. Tinker
Bell was very angry with him. After seeing the fairy in her house, she rained a lot of questions to him.

He also said that he lives with lost boys and who are the lost boys the author says the following words.

“They are the children who fall out of their perambulators when the nurse is looking the other way. If they are not claimed in seven days they are sent far away to the Neverland to defray expenses. I’m captain.”    But when he kicked John, she got irritated and told with the spirit that he was not the captain in her house. This is very humorous. To remove her anger he asked her for a kiss. When she kissed him, he felt it funny and wished to kiss her. When he went ahead to kiss her, Tinker Bell pulled Wendy’s hair.

Then he disclosed the secret of his coming to Wendy’s house every night and it was that he liked the stories, especially the story of Cinderella which her mother used to tell the Wendy and her siblings. When Wendy told him that she knew a lot of stories, he gripped her and began to draw her toward the window. He wanted her tell all stories to his friends also. He decided to teach how to fly her and her siblings.

On the other side, Nana felt that there was something unusual in the children’s room and started barking. Liza tied Nana but she broke the chain. In the room Peter was teaching to fly. When you read the talk while teaching to fly, the humorous picture will be displayed. Do read it.

They four started to fly and Nana brought Mrs. & Mr. Darling back home from the party. They saw them flying in the sky as they was too late coming to nursery.

Now to know where Wendy and her siblings went with Peter, pray that I read chapter 4 soon and tell you the story…bye..

COME AWAY, COME AWAY

Hello readers, I am back with the interesting story of chapter 3 in PETER PAN. In the previous chapter, as you know, Peter Pan comes to Mr. and Mrs. Darling’s house and escapes through the window before Nana catches him. But Nana gets succeeded to catch his shadow. When Mrs. Darling tells the entire story to his husband, they decide to be awake at nigh and see what happens at night. Now what happens ahead, keep reading. At night, Mr. and Mrs. Darling left the house keeping three night lights on by the beds of their three children. Suddenly all three lights got off. To mention this, the author has used stylistic words.  They were awfully nice little night-lights, and one cannot help wishing that they could have kept awake to see Peter; but Wendy’s light blinked and gave such a yawn that the other two yawned also, and before they could close their mouths all the three went out. After the three night lights got off the new light came in the room which was tremendously brighter than these three lights. It was a fairy came in the room constantly growing. Her name was Tinker Bell who wore outfits of skeleton leaf, cut low and square. Just after Tinker Bell came, Peter Pan dropped in the room and carried the fairy’s hand. Actually they both came here to find out his shadow which Mrs. Darling put it in the drawer carefully.

Author says that they both conversed in the fairy language and that was very sweet. Peter went to the chest and took out his shadow. But there happened a strange thing. Peter Pan was so happy to get his shadow back that he forgot Tinker Bell in the drawer.

Hello readers, where you lost? Oh you lost all in the story completely because my story is taking an interesting turning point. Ok come with me in the story.

Peter Pan tried to stick with the shadow but failed and started crying. His sobs woke Wendy. Wendy was so brave that she did not get frightened to see a strange boy in her room. Then a polite and nice conversation took place between Wendy and Peter Pan. To enjoy the dialogues of their conversation, click here. Wendy sewed her shadow and Peter wore it. Again he forgot to thank Wendy in the delight of getting his shadow back. Wendy considered him very selfish and arrogant and covered her face with bed sheet. When Peter realized his mistake, he induced her look up. To know the further talk between them, keep reading my next blog…..bye…..
